Tempo seek third win of season against Mercury Tuesday night

The Toronto Tempo continue their road trip on Tuesday night as they travel to Phoenix, AZ to take on the Mercury.

The Mercury and Tempo each won their last games, and they both have the chance to win back-to-back contests for the first time in the early season on Tuesday night.

Brittney Sykes is coming off a career-high 38 points in Toronto’s first-ever road win on Sunday, and Kiki Rice has continued to show great signs in her first WNBA start as she scored in double figures for the third consecutive game.

For the Mercury, Serbian Jovana Nogic scored 27 points to lead Phoenix over the Chicago Sky last Friday. Her scoring outburst set a WNBA record for the most points scored by an undrafted rookie in a single game.
